PROFILE: The Nick Denham saga is undoubtedly the story of BCW. When, at a Venom taping in September 2K, a bodged suplex broke Nick's right arm with such ferocity that he had to have a steel plate grafted to the bone, the whole of the backyard game was stunned, as reality bit hard. Many predicted the end not only of Nick's career but also of British Championship Wrestling altogether. However 'The Pimp Daddy' solemnly decreed the show must go on and his immense genitals and powers of recovery saw the federation pull through its darkest crisis. Career-wise, Nick's comeback was consolidated at Hellbound 2001, when he single-handedly proved to be the turning point in a pulsating contest, coming from nowhere to aid his brother and see to it that the Denham Boyz were crowned the premiere BCW Tag Team champions. Controversy meanwhile has surrounded his 2 all-too-brief stints as full BCW champion, first when he lost to Drusifer just minutes after capturing the gold during a ladder match, and later on when Gwah ruthlessly stripped him of the belt. 'The Virgin Taker' is believed to be the father of 4 children in his hometown and also puts his big old balls to good use when delivering the phenomenal 'Denham (missile) Dropkick', complimenting the 'Denham Drop'.
